Perante a situação trágica vivenciada na Ucrânia, geradora de um elevado fluxo migratório para os países da União Europeia, entende o Centro de Estudos de Pós- Graduação em Medicina Legal (CEPGML) da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Coimbra, associar-se às múltiplas iniciativas de apoio concreto que, em Portugal, têm vindo a ser desenvolvidas por instituições, públicas e privadas, e por particulares.
Nesta conformidade, o CEPGML entende apoiar o acolhimento de um médico especialista em medicina legal, que pretenda residir e exercer esta especialidade em Portugal, através da atribuição de uma bolsa de estudo que lhe facilite a concretização dos passos necessários para obtenção inicial do reconhecimento específico para o exercício de medicina em Portugal e inscrição na Ordem dos Médicos de Portugal, tendo em vista um posterior exercício de atividade médico-legal.
In view of the tragic situation experienced in Ukraine, which generates a high migratory flow to the countries of the European Union, the Center for Postgraduate Studies in Legal Medicine (CEPGML) of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra decided to be associated with the multiple concrete support initiatives that, in Portugal, have been developed by public and private institutions, and by individuals.
Accordingly, CEPGML intends to support the reception of a doctor specialist in forensic medicine, who intends to reside and practice this specialty in Portugal, through the attribution of a scholarship that facilitates the accomplishment of the necessary steps to obtain the initial specific recognition for the practice of medicine in Portugal and enrollment in the Portuguese Medical Association, with a view to the subsequent exercise of medico-legal activity.
